Movement & COACHING

All of my movement-related coaching happens at Crossfit Austin — whether you’re an “everyday athlete” interested in getting stronger, fitter, and healthier for life OR a birthing person, who is currently pregnant or postpartum and needs a little support and direction. I offer 1:1 coaching and group classes.

Crossfit Austin “Coach For Life”

As one of Crossfit Austin’s Coaches For Life, I am dedicated full-time to helping my clients and our gym members achieve their peak health and well-being. While many gyms will let anyone and everyone go straight into class, we take the slower, more deliberate path, and we believe it’s worth it.

We’re a coaching facility rather than a gym with a constantly revolving door. We take pride in thorough assessment, one-on-one training, and an individualized approach to your wellness journey.

We take our programming seriously. While many gyms throw the hardest movements at the wall to see what sticks for the sake of bragging rights, we are more purposeful and nuanced in our movement selection.

I may be biased, but I think our community is everything. When I open the bay doors to coach every morning, I welcome people of all sizes, colors, and personalities into our gym. To me, that’s important. It matters to me that all people feel safe and supported at CFA. I’m extremely proud to be part of a diverse coaching staff and gym family.

Austin BIRTHFIT Leader & Coach

As a BIRTHFIT Leader and Coach. I am able to support birthing people in the four founding pillars of fitness, nutrition, mindset, and connection to the best of my ability, alongside other Leaders in the Austin, TX area. I currently offer BIRTHFIT prenatal and postpartum group classes, as well as BIRTHFIT consultations and 1:1 personal training.

My journey with BIRTHFIT began in my first trimester with my son, Cairo, when my husband and I attended the BIRTHFIT Prenatal Series. I was so inspired that I continued doing their online prenatal program throughout the remainder of my pregnancy, and I was able to continue training up until two days before he was born. When I eventually began moving again, I followed their postpartum program. By embracing the BIRTHFIT “slow is fast” mentality, I was able to allow myself both grace and space to give my body whatever it needed during those challenging first months.

Now, I wish to pay it forward and support others through group classes and consultations, sharing what I know and allowing space for others to connect. Group classes currently planned for 2022 can be found here. Pre-registration is required; no drop-ins are allowed at this time. I am able to offer scholarship spots to those in need at a certain capacity.
